Ben brings over eight years of experience in venture capital, innovation, and startup support, with a strong focus on climate and Oceantech. He has built deep expertise in sourcing, evaluating, and supporting early-stage companies developing solutions for ocean health and the climate transition.

Prior to joining SVG Ventures THRIVE, Ben was part of L’Atelier BNP Paribas in San Francisco, where he analyzed emerging technologies and statups to advise corporate and investor clients on business and investment opportunities in various Cleantech sectors. He later led venture support at Sustainable Ocean Alliance, where he worked closely with founders and investors to accelerate over 60 Oceantech startups across sectors such as sustainable seafood, ocean data, plastic alternatives, and clean shipping. In this role, he helped deploy catalytic capital, build strategic partnerships, and position startups for follow-on investment.
