Overview

The THRIVE APAC Accelerator is a 12 week program that supports early-stage agrifood tech startups from across the value chain whose technologies drive us towards a more efficient, sustainable, and secure agriculture future. Supporting companies across the agrifood value chain, the THRIVE APAC Accelerator places a strong emphasis on companies creating a sustainable future through innovation.

WHO SHOULD APPLY

The THRIVE APAC Accelerator program is specifically designed to support Seed to Series A stage companies looking to scale product and operations with a focus on entering global markets
At this stage, companies have products in commercial use and the intention to scale into international markets. This program benefits companies looking to attract both local and international customers and we are particularly seeking companies from Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.

THRIVE will connect you to corporate partners and investors from our network who may pursue investment. Following completion of the program, THRIVE will consider investing in selected companies. 

AWARD-WINNING PROGRAM

Participation in our award-winning program will validate your startup to potential investors and give you access to THRIVE’s ecosystem, network, customers, and investment in addition to significant perks from network partners IBM, Stripe, Hubspot, Zendesk, AWS, Zenefits and Carta.

Frequently Asked Questions

The majority of webinars will be held virtually via Zoom. Kick-off, Demo Day and Silicon Valley Week will be held in-person. Upon acceptance into the program, we require full participation in our webinars, events and workshops.

THRIVE is looking for Seed to Series A stage companies to join the program. Companies should have products in commercial use and the intention to scale into international markets.  This program benefits companies looking to attract both local and international customers

Yes – we expect companies to have initial paying customers in their home market.

Upon review of all Accelerator applications, the top companies will be invited to Pitch Day, a virtual pitch event judged by our corporate partners, mentors and other ecosystem partners. This is currently scheduled for late-November 2024.

A formal interview will take place following this.

Offers of Acceptance will be sent by January 2024.

Upon acceptance, the onboarding and due diligence process begins with the THRIVE Accelerator team.

Applicants who are not invited to Pitch Day and final interviews will be personally contacted by the THRIVE Accelerator team.

No, there is no cost to the program. Travel costs are not included in the program. 

Not upon acceptance into the Accelerator program. Upon completion of Demo Day, there may be an opportunity for investment by SVG Ventures. This is determined on a case-by-case basis. 

During virtual programming, there is a 2 to 3-hour weekly commitment featuring:

  • Weekly workshop or panel.
  • Founder stories.
  • Connections to mentors throughout the program.
  • Monthly coaching calls with the THRIVE Team.

Normally, a founder of the business participates fully in the program and acts as the main representative.  Additional team members are welcome to join the virtual sessions where relevant.
