SVG Ventures + THRIVE reaches 115M Global Audience

Los Gatos, CA., July 31, 2019—Five years, five cohorts, and a current valuation of over $700M! SVG Ventures’ current portfolio of 48 THRIVE Accelerator alumni are leading the way in innovation in the food and agriculture industries with 17 of the 48 companies receiving more than $50M in investment in 2019. SVG Ventures recognizes a total of 103% valuation growth increase in investment across the five accelerator cohorts. Our roster of accelerator companies includes remarkable start-ups such as, Trace Genomics, AgShift, and Livestock Water Recycling. Interest in the accelerator continues to be exceptionally high, with more than 150 applications received to date for the 2019 THRIVE VI Accelerator Program.

This year, SVG Ventures secured multiple global partnerships to lead conversations on agrifood and agtech on live stages at international events. SVG Ventures scouts and evaluates innovation, moderates panel discussions, and networks with thousands of startups, corporates, and investors at worldwide events including the Innovation Summit, South by Southwest, Smart AgriFood Summit Malaga, Forbes AgTech Summits in Salinas & Indianapolis, Calgary Stampede, and PMA Fresh Summit Convention & Expo.
