Jason Convey is an Associate for the Corporate Innovation Group. He assists in driving innovation for external partners, accelerating change in the agrifood value chain.
Jason has a background in specialty crops, food safety, and academic research. Previously, Jason worked at Gills Onions/Rio Farms where he was exposed to the inner workings of industrial agriculture and food safety. Continuing in the specialty space, he spent time at AGQ Laboratories in the inorganic department, focusing on heavy metal analysis. He is passionate about the implementation of and investment in economically viable sustainable solutions.
Jason holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Agribusiness with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Sustainable Environments from Purdue University. During his time there, he participated in the development and implementation of research trials with herbicides and industrial hemp.
