CLIMATE CHALLENGE

Overview

With the global population set to reach 10 billion by 2050, the demand for increased agricultural production underscores the parallel need for sustainable energy solutions. The synergy between agriculture and energy is profound in Alberta, Canada, where these sectors are not only essential drivers of the provincial economy, but also respected leaders on the global stage.

Recognizing the significant opportunity to support local and attract international startups to the province, the climate challenge, in partnership with Alberta Innovates, is a global search for innovators developing solutions at the ag energy nexus and playing a vital role in securing a sustainable future for our global community.
